Balance of everything

Balance of everything", may sound easy, but I think it is one of the most difficult skill to learn and inculcate in our life.

"For a long time, every night left me feeling unsatisfied with my day. Whether I studied hard, had fun, or took care of my well-being, a nagging guilt of not doing something truly meaningful lingered. It seemed like I was in constant search of that perfect day, where contentment would be my companion. Little did I know, the secret to satisfaction lay in finding the right balance."

Each person's idea of a balanced life is unique, and a recent revelation has significantly contributed to my own sense of fulfilment. I am eager to share this newfound wisdom in the hope that it might resonate with you as well. But to unfold this satisfaction first, you must write down and answer yourself questions below:

  1. Find what you love to do or What brings you joy? (It could be anything – hanging out with friends, reading, self-care, or playing games. If you are unsure, just think about what made you happy in the past few days.)
  2. What are you good at? (You do not have to be perfect, just acknowledge what you excel in. Embracing your skills, even if they are not flawless, can guide you to personal growth.)
  3. What can you be paid for? (Consider what skills can put money in your pocket. If you are a college student gearing up for placement, this reflection is your ticket to not just a job, but a fulfilling career)
  4. How to improve your mental and physical wellbeing?

Once you have answered the questions above, transform your daily routine. Break your day into five parts and each morning, jot down one essential task from every section (a personalized to-do list for the day). The last section should encompass daily basics. It might not be easy at first, but with each attempt, you will get better (each day a better you). Over time, you will experience the profound satisfaction that comes with this simple yet transformative practice.

Embrace progress over perfection: Never burden yourself with guilt for not achieving perfection, as the truth is none of us can be perfect. Instead, celebrate the journey of continuous effort. Keep going, and you will get closer to being good at it and at last you must keep on trying things to find what suits you. At last, you must keep on trying new things to find what works for you.
